Part 55 – Ta’aruf Week.

On 23rd May 2009 Nur Afifah has officially became an CFS IIUM student.

I’m too lazy to post all the activities that we had in just 1 week of orientation(Ta’aruf). IT WAS HECTIC and TIRING !!! Couldn’t stand it.. Besides, We have like only few hours of sleep. Had qiammullail at 4.30 AM !!!!! subuh prayer I can stand. BUT not qiam...!!! I was getting homesick again..(Well, it has been 6 months since I didn’t do anything productive). I felt like ‘boo-hoo’ every nights. Especially when me parents called but I held it back.

It was maybe the 3rd day of Ta’aruf when we had EPT (English Placement Test) I had this headache thingy and started to puke all the things that I drank in the early morning (H-TOO-OH). Felt very miserable… So I went to Sick Bay. Stupidly enough, the ‘so-called-doctors’ seniors didn’t give me puke tablet. So I went to Test with : 1. EMPTY STOMACH cause if I ate something I might throw up at the test room.

2. FREAKING HIGH HEAD ACHE that I slept like exactly 30 mins the test start. BUT I did answer all the questions. I wished I did better because our English Test will determined the duration of our foundation. Annoying much because they didn’t tell us BEFORE the freaking test !!!! My essay was like a work done by a 7 year old kid writing an essay about pets =.=

I was the first one to go out from the class because I couldn’t stand being hot and sleepy. Besides, I was hungry.. DAMN HUNGRY.. My stomach was churning like a Tango song.The ‘journey’ back to Mahallah Zainab (Hostel) took about 5 mins. It’s like from Irinah to Old Block BUT added with LOTS of stairs. If I keep on walking like that everyday.. I bet my legs will be toned up in no time !! LOL.

The APT (Arabic Placement Test) is a guaranteed to me that I have to take arab basic. Haihzzzzz… It’ll be a loooooong subject to learn. Ya Habibi Ya Ali Baba Bujang Lapok. Ahlan Wasahlan. >.< It’s okay I know I’m not alone in that category. *wink*

I loathed some of the committee members. ‘They’ think they’re freaking ‘cool’ and ‘fun’ while I personally think they’re L-A-M-E. Seriously.. ‘They’ thought we’re like what ??? TWEEN ??? Pffft… It’s very obvious they don’t know how to communicate with girls our age. Pity.Pity.Pity.Seniors.

Things I don’t like what the committee did :

1. THE chant : ‘KAWAN-KAWAN…CEPAT CEPAT LA TURUN!!’

               :  ‘CLAPPING’ > ‘CLAPPING CLAPPING > ‘CLAPPING CLAPPING CLAPPING’ (hurmmm… hell-o !!! LAME MUCH?????)

               :  ‘MUSLIMAT POWER MUSLIMAT POWER POWER MUSLIMAT POWER POWER POWER *it’s with this hand thingy* ( I didn’t do this hand thingy nor ‘screamed’ along with them as I don’t want to humiliate myself)

2. The ‘repeating’ DRESS CODE.

Comment : Yesssss.. we understand what you’re saying EVERYTIME after the jemaah prayer. AND YESSSS… we have the student guidelines book for us to read about the dress code. AND YESSSSSSSS… We already prepared ourselves with the right clothes to wear in here… KAPEESH ?? understood ??? ada paham ??? ok… next !!!

3. The ludicrous ‘event’ after the Asar prayer. The one I can’t stand and made me pity them more was the Ayumi Hamasaki dance. I felt pathos for them. SERIOUSLY !!! And the arrow thingy.. Even my small cousin can think of what’s next and will still think of it as lame thing to do. Urgh… When I think back of it I’m ashamed of myself for being there.

4. Being such a total *tuuuuuut* to me. It’s a long story. To sum it all up, ‘she’ was being a *tuuuut* to me just because I didn’t ‘show’ I have any respect to her. IT’S A TOTALLY FUCK UP THING !! Urghh…

I met quite few of new people here. =D  I just need to be more socially active as I’m quite shy. HEEE.. =p

Besides, I don’t know what to talk about with them except with my roomies. TALKING ABT MY ROOMIES :

Yana – comes from Penang.

Afi – comes from Kedah

Eica – comes from TTDI but will leave to Nilai tomorrow. =[

All of us except EICA are staying in PJ. Afi changed her course to IT.. if not we’ll be doing engineering together gether!!!! =[

Oh… And also there will be changes : 200+ people will go to IT while 800+ will continue with Engineering. The thing I don’t get is that WHY do they COMBINE ENGINEERING AND IT ???? Why can’t they just make it as different programmes ???????? Haihzzz…

Now.. about the room :

The room has 2 bunk beds!! And I’m on top. I was a bit scared to be on top cause of my weight. ;s  But it’s actually nice to be on top!! =D It’s cooler than the bottom. I THINK* The room is half of my previous room in KTJ. Damn small wei… Including the closet too!!! But I managed to put stuff in there.. So, it’s quite okay.. But need to be organized to put stuff there. Some of the clothes I keep in my bag cause I don’t think it’ll fit all. =S We share the study table!!!! The size is like computer table. So have to half it for me and Yana. My place is soo messy unlike hers. Hers are organized and neat. Unlike me.. HAHAHAH...

I think that’s all I will post about the place.

Part 54 – Tomorrow.

Part 53 – Predictable

Well… 2 days ago, We met up !!! YAYNESS!! I went there super duper early. Waited for the rest. My parents didn’t want me to wait for them all by myself, so we stayed in the car. Around 3.. they came. =)

Faiz, as usual, the chatty one.. talked about lots of things. Esp abt MD. He kept on saying ‘MD siok…..’. Which is soooo funny cause he repeated it lots of time. & he told us a ghost story which he faced it by himself. *goosebumps* I don’t want to tell the details cause I’m pretty scared atm. d=

We ate Dim Sum. Dim Sum is delicious !!!!! And there’s this green thingy.. I thought like it’s stuffed with veges.. Turned out it’s chickies!!!! Sooo delicious!! *Drools* Then, we took pics using Faiz’s Mac. We had BLAST!

Around 5… My parents came and picked me up. Faiz wanted to go to Mall but I couldn’t cause need to buy more stuff. Then, we departed our ways. =’[[ I know it’ll be fun to go to mall with them but due to last minute shopping I have to sacrifice the blast for tudung shopping.

We went to Batu Bersurat and shopped there. Bought tudungs. Then, mama wanted to buy me flats (since I have heels ONLY). But there was no parking and daddy wasn’t 'that’ patience at Serusop Vincci. So we went home. WHAT A MAJOR BUMMER!!!

And this morning, mama wanna take me to a salon and also buy stuff! So I have to wake up extremely early!! Cause in the afternoon I have to go to Mall with my sexy chicaz !!! YAYNESS!!!! =]

Gonna catch snooze now or else I won’t wake up.

Part 52 – 7 days.

Woke up extremely early. Well, I couldn’t sleep well but I couldn’t care less. I was worried about all the things that I have to buy in just 5 days!!! It’s extremely effecting me.

Watched HE’S JUST NOT THAT INTO YOU. Absolutely a GOOD MOVIE. Not a waste of time indeed to download it. =D

I love the fact that it has girls and guys’ opinions in the middle of the stories. I think it’s true on what we all girls think of the ‘spark’ or ‘the signs’ that he’s into us. And of course, we, girls rather to bitch about the guy rather than blaming the girl’s fault. So, it’s really like a thud in the chest when I watched it cause If I were in the girl friend’s shoes, I’d say the same thing too!! LOL.

I like Alex and Gigi’s story the most. Their scenario are typical : From totally strangers >> A relationship helper >> Relationships. Soo cute!

Anyway, after daddy sent mama to her tuition place we went to Bata in Gadong. Urghhh.. Choosing black shoes are hard! Maybe cause I’m choosy. But most of it are high heels and in UIA we can’t wear high heels. So, I have to buy this ‘school girl’ black shoes. Thank God it’s for a year only.!!! If not, I’ll feel like Back To School. WoopDeDoo!!!~ (Bleghh)

Or why not make us uniform so we all can look alike ???? Or better, make us a mask so we all can look alike too ?? (Can’t you just smell the sarcasm running through my fingers now?)

Been feeling like this for a couple of days. Don’t know why. Maybe too much of lazing around.

I can’t wait to meet Wina, Waz and Faiz again !!!! It’ll be my last time hanging out with them before I return to Brunei again. Which I don’t know when. Depends on the holiday. Hurmmm…~ Wina told me we’re gonna eat Dim Sum tomorrow. Frankly, I’ve never tried all dim sum dishes before. So, I can’t wait to try them !! Heee.. Cause the last time I tried was I donno what they were. Canah treated us the ‘1st timer dim sum eater’. So, I’m anxious for the ‘challenge’ tomorrow! Yeea!!! hahahaha..

Part 51 – Tuesday.

This post thingy is really a pain in the butt.

So I decided to use this windows live writer instead. :)

I think this thing is oh kay.. Very easy to use. =D

Shit.. I sound as if I'’m promoting.

Anyway, in the morning.. prolly before Subuh.. The electric went off.. It was fuck. DOUBLE FUCK cause it lasted until 8 – 9. I was sweating like crazy. This wasn’t the first time the electric being a bitch to us. It totally ruined my awesomest dream. I dreamt of Alai and this hottie. It was veeeeery weird.

Anyway, Who is ZUAN REE ??? I don’t know him. HE just added me in facebook. Trueeee that we used to be in the same school.. Trueeee that you were my junior.. BUT !!! That doesn’t mean that I know you. Besides, when I was in SMSSA.. I didn’t mix much with the juniors. My wild guess is that, he added me for fun. Which I have to say is stupid because :

1. I don’t add people for fun.

2. If I don’t know you, I’ll ignore you.

3. Then I’ll delete you.

So, bad move there you zuan ree. YES.. I can be called as a ‘grinch’ or anti-social. but that’s just me. I don’t add stranger. And neither should you. Doesn’t mean that we have mutual friends means that we know each other. Kapeeesh??

THE BIG 50.

I love my mother more than anything else in the world.
She’s the bomb
Well, on mother’s day we planned a spa treatment for mama.
We brought her to this Erick’s Facial and Beauty Saloon.
Cost only $35 for full sauna and body massage.
Well, mama didn’t want to go sauna.
Instead, the lady told me to go into sauna.
Of course I go, if not waste of money right ???
It was for 20 mins. They played this ‘relaxing’ songs.
Honestly, I wasn’t relaxed.
I was dying and begging for them to change songs something more upbeat.
20 minutes seemed like 20 hours.
While I was being toast , ayah and mazni went to a bakeshop to buy mama a cake.
And printed a card which mazni made it all by herself.
It was supposed to be a surprise for mama abt the cake.
But daddy is a surprise pooper.
He left the cake in the fridge.
Not long after that, mama opened the fridge and Taaaaa-Daaaa~ the cake was in there.
Cheeehh..~

Mama was surprised of all the things we did to her today.
Wish the other 2 lil noahs were there to celebrate the best mother’s day evah brought to you by well….

Part 48 - money,money,money.

I feel guilty. I don’t know why. Maybe the fact my parents are spending lots of money for me. They spent LOTS for me to prepare for this foundation thingy. Mainly due to my drastic changes. I’m all covered up people!! Woo hoo!!! ;p

Maybe it is one of the sacrifices parents have to make for their children. Gooosh.. The hardship of being a parent. Besides, it’s all the universities fault too!!!!!

Why sooo rules have to follow ??? Including the WHITE bed sheet and pillow cases!!!!! Who bloody care if your bed sheet is coloured ??? Garghh.. I have nice,coloured,striking,bright bed sheet. And now I have to change it for a bloody plain bed sheet?? Geeez… Thanks a lot!!

But!!! I will be there for only a year. So, it won’t be that hard and less stuff for me to carry!!! YAY !!

However, daddy said foundation will be hectic. =S Have to cope with it!!!

And I have 15 days left to enjoy my ‘freedom’ in Brunei.

Part 4 and 7 kiss and tell.

I can't believe what in 2 weeks I'm gonna leave my sanctuary of 6 months to UIA !
It's a mixed emotions I get whenever I think of it. I just realized, I still have tonnes of things left to do..! And I wasted it all away. =[ Oh well, NO REGRETS !! *still kicking the optimism*
Well, I learn A LOT in 6 months time. Huuuurmm.. for instance, COOKING and DOING CHORES and BEING RESPONSIBLE and SLEEP DAMN LATE !! LOL. The last one isn't counted.
I can't believe I'm gonna be a college student !! or university student that is. =D
and doing FOUNDATION !! ENGINEERING !! Well, I donno whether I'm psyched about it or not. Cause engineering wasn't in 'my top choice'. Actually, I have one ! That is LAW. But sadly, I can't do it. There must reasons why I can't do it. Hmmm...

OK !! Good news are my daddy finally bought me a camera !! YAY !! It's NIKON S220. It's actually cheap and CUTE !! It's a pocket size and light as a feather. Though the picture has grainy effect. Nyehh.. but it's an ABSOLUTE AWESOMENESS !! I LOVE YOU DADDY AND MOMMY !! THANKIU SO SO MUCH. MUCHOS GRACIAS ! <33

After all that shopping thingy, we went to McD. My cousin ate TRIPLE CHEESEBURGER. That guy is INSANE !! He ate it as if it's a beef burger. Though he said he's all full. hahaha.
I donno why,but my sis wasn't 'lively' when we were at the mall. She was in her shell. I didn't know whether to ask her or not. Soo.. I asked my cousin instead. He said she had a headache. Hurmm.. Neway, turned out she was freaked out because she hasn't studied her IRK for her test today (cause i'm posting this at 1am)

AND AND AND LIVERPOOL WON 3-0 OVER NEWCASTLE ! ABSOLUTE YAYNESS!!
