I know it has been a while that I didn’t update this blog. I’m so sorry dear bloggie (while blowing off the dust). The reason is because… Hmm.. it’s not that I’m lazy. It’s just that I’m too caught up with other stuff and I don’t have time to blog. Hehe..
This year vacation, my dad decided to go to Perth. My dad looooves Australia. He likes the place so much. He planned that he wanted to explore the whole of Australia. Don’t ask me why. I even don’t understand why.
Anyway Anywho.. The trip was for a week. We departed on Friday night by AirAsia. The flight was about 5 hours. There really is no time difference between Perth and Malaysia. Unlike Melbourne and Malaysia. It’s because of the location.
Now.. I’m lazy to write a whole story of my trip there. So I’ll just write it in a point form. Hehe..
- We stayed at Marina Sands Resort, Mandurah. It is located around 1 hour away from Perth. But… The resort is near the beach! And lemme tell you.. The beach is so pretty and calming. The sight is just .. breathtaking. A beautiful landscape from Allah SWT. Though Mandurah is a small town, but it has a halal restaurant there, Shaly Cafe. It serves malaysian food.. but it can’t beat how real Malaysians cook it. Hehehe.. And oh! The town centre is so beautifully landscape and the people are so friendly. :)
- Fremantle is a very exciting place. It has Fremantle market which has variety of stuff you can buy, E-Shed market which is a perfect place to buy souvenir. Stop by at Aussin cause it has many stalls and sells at a reasonable price! Hahaha! :D
Fremantle prison is a creepy yet thrilling place to visit! It’s kinda like Pudu Jail though. But the tour that made it very fun cause they wanted you to imagine like you were the prisoner. Thus, they will let your mind wander how jail life would be for the prisoners at that time. It’s a very fun tour! Very informative indeed! :D
We didn’t know any halal restaurant there, but we were told by the people there to experience Cicerello’s Fish & Chips cause it’s THE best f&c there. And they were right! The fish is so buttery and tasted fresh! The portion is just … TOO MUCH! (For Asians). They are so generous on the chips! Hahaha!
To sum it all, Fremantle is a nice place. :) - A must tourist attraction: KING’S PARK AND BOTANIC GARDEN. The place is HUGE! It’s like a typical park added with botanic garden. So there are many different kinds of plants. But the way they place the plants are so cute! A different section for different kinds of plants that can suit in different kind of climate and soil. So it’s very beautiful. And oh! The place is so strategic too! It’s located on top of the hill. So you can see the whole city of Perth. And it’s just so.. amazeballs! :)
We took a lot of beautiful pictures there cause the sights are just.. so pretty!! :) - The only factory outlet we know that is located in the middle of Perth is : Harbour Town. It is a very good place to shop! It has different outlets branching from its own local products to other international products. Fear not, since there is a halal kebab shop and a turkish shop that sells gozleme. And ohh! Both of the shops taste delish! and also, the amount is oh so generous. Hehehe.. :)
- AQWA is pretty much the same as Aquaria that we have here in KLCC. But you see, the difference is the way they set up the whole place. They have a touching area where you can grab starfish and sea cucumber but you can’t take them out of the water. It was my first time touched both of them and I’m really proud of myself. Hehehe..
They have stingray area and you can see different types of stingrays with different colors and patterns. They are beautiful but deadly creatures. Like women! Hehe..
The touching area (Starfish and Sea Cucumber). You can touch it but have to keep it under the water! :D
The sight of Fremantle taken while we’re on the ferris wheel :)
Fremantle Prison. Built by the prisoners for the prisoners.
At King’s Park & Botanic Garden.
And Oh.. Navigon Australia for Iphone is a really useful apps. I downloaded Tom but I rarely use it. Most of the time I use Navigon cause it’s so user-friendly! :)
I wonder where my dad will take us next year. Hehehe.. Here’s to another family trip. InsyaAllah.
:)
