It is not a norm for us to be dressed like an Arab. When Engenius AGD & Gala Night came up with the theme : ARABIAN NIGHT. It was ‘THE PERFECT OPPORTUNITY’ for me and Haza to go all 'Arabs’. Included the other girls too.
That night, I wore purdah and abaya. The one I bought at Brunei. It was a perfect abaya cause it came up with the shawl too. The shawl is long enough for me to wrap it and turned it into purdah + shawl. Which I learned it from Haza and Azyan. I did my own make up yaw! I didn’t need anyone’s help this time which is a major achievement for me. *Since I have a lot of history of needed help from a lot of people to do my make up. lol*. I guess, I really need to do my make up at the very last minute since it was pretty ok compared to when I took a very long time to do it and I’ll end up coloring my own face as if it’s a coloring book. =|
We did our GRAND ENTRANCE. Woot Woot!! Everyone was ‘wooooww…’ when they saw us came with full of style and elegance. Hahaha.. Sorry, was a wee bit exaggerating. But it was true. Lots of people were shocked to see us came with purdah and stuff. They said they almost didn’t recognize me. But once they heard either my laughter or my voice, it was recognizable. Nyehh.. I wanted to be one of those mysterious, sultry arab looking chica. EPIC FAIL MUCH!? Kekekekeke.. >.<
Overall, it was a good dinner. Good food. Good company. Good time. Me and my girls had one of our best laugh ever. It was fun being with them. =)
Ohh.. And I do think that wearing purdah is so sexy. Especially when it only focuses on the eye. So I can put on thick, super black eyeliner and still able to look sexy without having to do anything! A look is all it takes. Hehehe..
(Do we have what it takes to be The next arabian celup?)
(With my lovely Sha and Sapek)
